I CAN`T WAIT FOR THIS CONTRACT TO BE PUT IN PLACE. Directv is a complete scam. I signed up for a package of $80 a month, the cable bill is over $150 a month. Every time I call, they tell me that he will be credited with my next monthly bill and that it will never happen. The equipment was on us tonight and the representative was very rude. They also wanted to blame us for having technology to get out. Whatever you do, you go to another place for cable, Internet or phone. Not to mention that it will be Tuesday before someone is sent and they do not give you a call before arrival. So you can leave work to fill it. In July, I returned the device to THIER boxes and THIER labels. The EDF EX of the show still has it (in transit).
I went online and read where it`s a regular event with Direct TV and the devices returned. A lot of calls to Direct TV say them pretty badly! They always owe us the money. And they sent us to the collections. I`m at the end of my mind! Can someone tell me who to ask to complain about? I absolutely hate Directv and I look forward to Christmas so I can get out of this plan with them! Terrible customer service, and why would I pay $150 a month if I went back to court and received the same amount of channels for $95 a month?!?!? The list goes on and on with directv. Yesterday I called to bring down a service they had announced before they overwhelmed me. I hope the representative I spoke with did what I asked. While I was on the phone, he told me I was eligible for a new equipment upgrade. I asked if it would cost, and I asked if I should renew my contract. On both issues, there was rep saying “no.” Great, I did the update Wednesday. The first thing that bothered me about DirectTV was that they didn`t reuse devices that I`ve already paid for.
I don`t think I should pay to have new devices installed when I did this at the place where I recently moved. Just another way to get nickel and dime you. For all that was said and done, they said they were going to send me crates so I could return equipment, so they wouldn`t bother me, because God told me I was lighting up the equipment at DirectTV`s office in the city where I moved. Not to mention that before I moved, I spoke on the phone with several representatives and none of them said that I had to turn it on in the office I received. I called several times to see where the boxes were and they were told every time they were on the way…. On the right…. They would have sent Fedex boxes that never arrived, and they would automatically take the money from my account every chance they had, if my account was at $0 and there were 7 failed attempts to top up my account, my account would freeze my account.
